A malfunctioning airplane carrying
hundreds of people descends on a sparsely populated area. From landing to getting
support with a backup plane, how long does it take for an airline company to
finish the tasks?
HNA guarantees the response time of 4 hours or less anywhere in the world with expertise, tools and spare parts ready to support the failing aircraft.
How to achieve such efficiency? Let’s check out HNA’s "Aircraft Hospital" – HNA Technic in Haikou and find out.

“Clairvoyance” Finds out the Problems Ahead of the Pilot
How to locate and verify the issues in the failed aircraft taking as little time as possible? At HNA Technic, Maintenance Operations Center (MOC) operates as the “Clairvoyance” and “Clairaudience.” With only a dozen people and a dozen computers, the team controls real-time data from more than 500 aircrafts.

HNA Technic’s Maintenance Operations Center (MOC) |
With data from Airbus and Boeing and the Aircraft Health Management System and the Real-Time Monitoring System independently developed by HNA Technology, they not only receive the first-hand failure information but locate the problems even earlier than the pilot. When the plane is still up in the air as the issue occurs, the team on the ground has already been working out repair plan and spare parts preparation.
In addition to “Clairvoyance” and “Clairaudience,” the team can deliver messages with thousands of miles apart. Fault notification will be sent via “One-Stop Broadcast” system to all the maintenance bases at HNA to ensure that the mechanics can receive the task in time.

HNA Technology’s Real-time Aircraft Health Monitoring |
In addition to monitoring aircrafts’ data, self-developed system via HNA Technic can also analyze trends using the data it generates. Such as air conditioning system temperature analysis. When the temperature continues to rise, the system will notify maintenance personnel for air conditioning maintenance. Therefore, no passenger would file complaints on AC to the airplane crew.
With MOC, if an aircraft fails at the base, the crew can start maintenance immediately. But if the failure occurs outside of the station, what to do then?
To make the fastest repair a reality, HNA has set up a team called “Aircraft on Ground.” The team members are familiar with numerous aircraft models, all lines of maintenance tasks. They have nearly 100 domestic airports’ passes and some 40 visas. They can arrive at any worldwide site that a customer aircraft is able to reach.

The Crew Checks the Aircraft Thoroughly on A Constant Basis |
Reach Any Site Worldwide within 4 Hours
In order to enhance the company's overseas security capabilities, HNA Technology has also built a dozen repair sites overseas. At present, there are 12 repair sites in North America alone.
Common failures will be fixed immediately on-site. If one encounters complex failures, he can launch regional aid where support would be sent from other sites directly.
Today, HNA Technic guarantees the response time of 4 hours or less anywhere in the world with expertise, tools and spare parts ready to support the failing aircraft, which in turn provide passengers with a safer flight environment.
